Layer of Epidermis, Dermis and Subcutaneous

In the previous article discussed about the 3 layers of skin, the epidermis layer, dermis and subcutaneous layers.

Layer of the epidermis is the outermost layer of skin, composed of several layers again, such is corneum layer or known more as a layer of horn. Horn layer is a layer of dead skin, outermost, which can easily peel itself and changed its skin cells with new ones. After corneum, spinosum is a layer that functions as a drag friction from the outside. Another layer consists of cells that are actively able to divide to replace cells in the corneum. In the epidermal layer also contains a layer of melamine-containing pigments as coloring the skin.

While in the dermis layer, which lies below the epidermis layer of skin there are some very important parts of sweat glands, oil glands, hair roots, blood vessels and nerve endings. The nerves transmit sensations of pain, itching, and temperature. There are also specialized nerve cells called Meissner and Vater-Pacini blood cells that transmit sensations of touch and pressure.

Last layer is a layer of subcutaneous / hypodermic, consisting of adipose tissue, contains a lot of fat, many containing blood vessels, lymph vessels and nerves, sweat glands also contained rolls and base of the hair follicle. The amount of fat in this layer relative, measure its thickness varies, depending on the place or part of the body, and gender.
